Location: Austin, TX
Description:
Wildlife Rescue is a non-profit organization that takes in injured and orphaned wildlife in the Austin area. The Animal Care Manager is responsible for the nutritional and medical care of all animals that come into the Intake Center. The ACM supervises a staff of 2-4 animal care technicians and approximately 30 volunteers. The applicant needs to have wildlife rehabilitation and / or veterinary technician experience; education in wildlife biology or a related field is preferable. The ACM should be able to work on his / her feet for most of the day and be able to lift moderate to heavy loads. Outside work is required as well as long hours in the spring and summer plus some weekends, nights, and holidays. Please e-mail resume and letter of interest to: -Register to view-
