Veterinary Receptionist

Description:
The Olney-Sandy Spring Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team. We are a busy, progressive, 5-doctor, AAHA accredited small animal hospital located in Sandy Spring Maryland. Our focus is to provide quality veterinary medicine and exceptional service in a professional and caring manner. An ideal canidate should have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and posses a team player mentality. They should be compassionate, honest, and kind. They must be committed to providing exceptional customer service, willing to be held accountable and have a strong desire to work in an empowering work environment. Experience in veterinary hospital is strongly preferred. The services we offer include but are not limited to: Wellness, Senior care, Dental care (including prophy and radiology), reproductive services, Ultrasound, Radiology, Surgery (including some orthopedic surgeries), In-house Laboratory services, Boarding and Grooming. Benefits include 401K, health insurance, paid leave, CE budget, veterinary care for personal pets, uniform allowance, and career development programs. The position would be a permanent full time position. The ideal candidate will have flexibility with working some morning shifts (7:00AM -3:30PM) and some evening shifts (10:00 or 11:00AM - 6:00 or 7:00PM ). Saturdays are required (7:30AM - 3:00PM) and would be a minimum of every other week. Starting salary commensurate with experience.
