Kennel Assistant/ Animal Care -

Location: San Francisco, CA

Description:
Beautiful, modern, 4-doctor veterinary practice in Martinez with dog / cat kennels and grooming, seeks P / T Kennel Attendant for afternoons and weekends. Animal Hospital experience preferred but will consider training the right person. Must be dependable, professional, have good communication skills, multi-tasking and willing to learn. Must be motivated and a team player. Duties will include feeding dogs and cats, administration of medication if needed, walking dogs and cleaning dog and cat cages, perform baths and pedicures, must be able to restrain larger dogs and able to handle and restrain cats, must be able to lift 40 pounds. In addition, housekeeping duties at the hospital will be required which will include dusting, dry and wet mopping of the floors, laundry etc. Hours are part time and will include evenings, Saturday and Sunday.
