Location: Santa Ana, CA

Description:
Rainforest Cafe - Downtown Disney Anaheim, California is now seeking an: Aquarist / Diver Main responsibilities will include: ? Life support maintenance of a 16,000 gallon saltwater exhibit ? Care and well being of more than 500 aquatic life forms ? Diving exhibit tanks using a surface-supplied air source ? Cleaning of public exhibits, back area quarantine and holding ? Nutrition, food preparation, and feeding ? Water quality testing and analyzing ? Animal behavior and exhibit esthetic observation ? Educational tours and presentations for large groups Job Requirements: ? Must be SCUBA certified, First-Aid certified, CPR certified ? Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in small spaces ? Ability to work in lab / sterile environment and safely with toxic reagents ? Must work well with children and be comfortable with public speaking while maintaining our public service objectives ? Must bring a high level of enthusiasm, excitement and passion to the workplace Experience / Education: ? Knowledge of saltwater aquarium life support systems function and purpose ? Knowledge of fish identification and behavior ? 2 year public aquarium or related experience paid or unpaid ? Lab experience a plus ?
